Check Point Software partners MyRepublic Broadband to secure Singapore SMEs

MR Email Guard as a Service, a joint solution by MyRepublic and Check Point Software for SMEs, will serve as a vital ‘email shield’ in front of existing cloud email platforms.

Check Point Software Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with MyRepublic Business/Broadband (MR), a leading digital telecommunications provider, to launch a joint solution “MyRepublic (MR) Email Guard” as a service for SMEs in Singapore.

With Singapore SMEs continuing to struggle in managing their cybersecurity, especially with the lack of manpower, technical complexity and the high cost of enterprise grade cybersecurity solutions, the partnership will see MyRepublic take away some of these complexities for SMEs.

Specifically, the partnership will see MyRepublic bring enterprise-grade email security to Singapore SMEs with plug-and-play deployment, and ongoing administration, management & support. As such, SMEs will not have to hire a dedicated cyber security team.

The service is specifically designed to address the rising volume of sophisticated phishing and Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks targeting the local business sector.
