JFrog and iZeno’s partnership to accelerate secure software delivery in Southeast Asia
Sunny Rao, SVP APAC at JFrog and Jason Lin, Managing Director of iZeno Group, discuss the partnership, including the opportunities they see in the region and how they are supporting each other.
In March 2026, JFrog unveiled a new collaboration with iZeno, Singapore-headquartered enterprise technology solutions provider to help organizations across Southeast Asia seamlessly govern, secure, and manage business and AI-powered applications at scale, both on-premises and in the cloud.
For JFrog, there is growing need to support customers in the Asia Pacific region with partnerships being key in this region in enabling that. This exclusive partnership with iZeno in the region will see businesses across the region access the JFrog Platform through iZeno’s full range of DevSecOps consulting and implementation services, including enablement, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity expertise, governance, risk management, and cloud-native modernization initiatives.
In an interview with CRN Asia, Sunny Rao, SVP APAC at JFrog and Jason Lin, Managing Director of iZeno Group, discuss more about the partnership, including the opportunities they see in the region and how they are supporting each other.
“We're doubling down on our focus with partners to bring the additional capabilities on top of our platform, because that's what we see our customers seeking. Customers today have a multitude of tools that they have used. But with the entire agentic revolution coming through, they have a challenge of how to get a one consistent system of record across the organization so that they can automate policy management, enforcement, and governance,” Rao said.
According to Rao, businesses can't do that when they have discrete tools that each are speaking their own language and trying to provide insights that can't connect the dots. He believes that is not just a platform play or a technology play but also how companies come in and help them execute it and operationalize it and work with their people to put those capabilities in place.
“That's kind of where we partnered with iZeno. iZeno came into the picture because of their capabilities, which we saw as a great fit in dealing with change inside organizations. And if you can bring those two together for our customers, then they have a winning proposition,” Rao said.
For Lin, while iZeno already had a partnership with JFrog for some time, it wasn’t until recently that it had gone beyond just a transactional partnership. Specifically, Lin believes that iZeno can offer more value-added services to customers on top of the solutions that were being offered.
“We evolved from an opportunistic transactional partnership to one that provided more value for the customers. One of the things that we do a lot is to help the customer understand where their maturity in terms of their DevSecOps practice is. Are they just starting off or are they already having real documented processes where they are or are they already at where they can measure metrics and determine whether they can improve and optimize all these processes,” Lin said.
Giving customers better software management capabilities
The partnership will see iZeno will provide organizations in Southeast Asia with regional security, governance, and compliance guidance, plus enterprise-grade access and implementation support for JFrog’s full suite of software supply chain solutions.
According to Lin, iZeno represents a whole list of different tools from different vendors in the whole. He explained that a lot of customers know what they need on their DevSecOps platforms but are caught up in trying to figure out how to best use the tools they have invested in to not just deliver faster but also securely.
Specifically, both Rao and Lin pointed out that the software supply chain is becoming more complex. Customers want auditability in their work, and Lin feels that iZeno has a lot of value to offer in this space.
“We are in a space where we believe that we would want to disrupt our own services rather than wait for somebody else to disrupt us. So, we are constantly looking for new ways of making our services more efficient and more profitable as well. Customers may want to choose the best of breed in different components. But managing it is very challenging,” he said.
Lin added that when JFrog extended the platform from JFrog Artifactory to along with the security features, advanced security, JFrog Xray is a good addition and enables iZeno to position the solutions as a whole platform.
At the same time, Lin believes that it also can be challenging because there's many different teams using different technology. Some teams may decide to have different standards and such. However, looking at the new features from JFrog, he believes the software company is going in the right direction where even though it's not something on their platform, customers can also have a view of it, which makes a lot of sense.
“Visibility today in a lot of organizations is not there. You can have partial visibility, but to see end-to-end is still a challenge,” Lin added.
Both Lin and Rao believe that by unifying the way every single binary in the lifecycle is managed and secured, JFrog and iZeno are helping the region’s leaders turn their software supply chain from a point of vulnerability into a competitive advantage.
The iZeno-JFrog partnership
According to Rao, with iZeno being the only authorized solution partner in this region, it’s an evolution of the partnership which started a few years ago.
“We were a very product-led growth, and so you almost had a pull from the customers. But as the complexity of the enterprise and our own portfolio increases, and we start to have a greater footprint inside the organization, we needed to revamp and reorient how we go to market,” said Rao.
Since joining the organization over the year ago, Rao also highlighted that one of the goals was to repivot that entire practice.
“And that's where we centered around iZeno as the partner that could invest as well. It's not just that we are saying that we should do this. It's an equal investment in a partnership. They needed to invest in the resources as well, and we will jointly work,” he explained.
Interestingly, while there are other transactional partners, it's part of the maturity curve and the evolution that JFrog is doing.
“Our role as a principal technology provider is to keep innovating. And we need to be faster than the most innovative organization in the world. Because we have to be faster than them. Which means that for our customers anywhere in the world, they can be assured that our roadmap of capabilities is always going to cater to their future needs. But at the same time, as we build that, there is also the legacy of the past and evolution. And there, the folks that make that help transition are our partners like iZeno,” Rao said.
Rao also pointed out that JFrog’s Authorized Solutions Partner Program invests in iZeno to train their people up to the next evolution and the next capability. This is to ensure they can help and represent JFrog and help the customer in that ecosystem with a broader market knowledge of all the other capabilities that the customer uses.
“That's how I see this partnership. We have to be at the forefront, and we also have to do it with scale in mind. Our customers have a significant geographic presence. We cannot be doing things in Australia and Singapore can follow in the next sprint, for example. It has to be applied instantaneously across the world because otherwise you open the door for threats to get in. So for us, it's that kind of innovation that we are working on so that our customers are safe,” he explained.
